DON AND CATHY KARPINEN
Victory Church has flourished under the senior leadership of pastors Don and Cathy Karpinen. Their passion for people has been evident through their 20 years of ministry at Victory. They are proud parents of Donny and Carrie Karpinen, who are both leaders of Victory's creative and worship teams. They have also been proud foster parents of a young baby boy for over a year.
Don and Cathy lead a team of staff and volunteers to see God's love pour out over our community and make Jesus famous on Earth. Their commitment to love God and love people has been constant through their years of ministry, and they always remind us that the best is yet to come.
Victory Church is a Christ-centered church that loves God and loves people, and transforms people into world changers. Our core values are building community, making disciples, and reaching the lost.
To be a multi-generational church that attracts people from all walks of life and connects them to God through Jesus Christ.
- To be a church that is synonymous with our city.
- To transform lives into world changers.

WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God.

We believe in one God revealed as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19; John 1:14; Acts 5:3-4; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Colossians 1:15-20
We believe in the virgin birth and the deity of Jesus Christ, that He was fully God and fully man.
Matthew 1:23; John 1:14
We believe that man, created in the image of God, by voluntary disobedience fell into the depths of sin. We believe that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
Genesis 1:27; Romans 5:12; John 3:16; Titus 2:14
We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholly through grace.
Romans 10:6-10; 1 John 1:9
We believe in the commandment of water baptism by immersion in the name of the Lord.
Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Acts 10:48
We believe in observing the Lord’s Supper.
1 Corinthians 11:24-26
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, an experience following conversion, and that His incoming is after the same manner as in the days of the Early Church.
Acts 1:5; 10:44-46; 19:1-6
We believe in the Spirit-filled life, that it is the will of God that believers walk in the Spirit.

We believe that the second coming of Christ is personal and imminent.

We believe that it is our sacred duty to identify ourselves with a congregation of believers.
Acts 16:5; Hebrews 10:24-25
We believe that heaven is the eternal home of born-again believers and that hell is the place of eternal separation from God for all who reject Christ as Savior.
John 14:2; Revelation 20:10, 15
We believe that tithing and offerings are ordained of God to sustain His ministry, spread the Gospel, and release personal blessing.

What is Victory Church about?
We are all about Jesus. “Loving God and Loving People” are core values Jesus speaks about in Matthew 22 and our church has embodied these values since our inception in 1996.
What should I expect on a Sunday morning?
Come expecting a highly energized and loving atmosphere. When the church comes together in the name of Jesus, we expect Him to meet us and empower us for His mission. Our church is a passionately engaged worshiping church, led in contemporary praise and worship by passionate worship leaders. We preach the Bible. We are excited about the Bible, because we believe it is the primary means of communication from God to His people today.
What about water baptism?
We pretty much throw a party every time someone gets baptized at our church. We believe that everyone who has repented of sin and placed their trust in Jesus Christ should be water baptized. Out of obedience to Christ, and to celebrate the new life He has given, a believer should be immersed in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We celebrate water baptism publicly as a church because it signifies our sinful nature dying as Jesus died, and our new life being raised as Jesus was raised from the grave three days after His crucifixion.
How do I start to meet some people and get involved?
A great place to start is coming to our Sunday morning services and get to meet some people there. We also have an After Party for our new people about 8 times a year where you can get to know staff on a more personal level and hear more about the church’s past, present, and future. We have a Serve Class, which is a requirement to becoming a leader or a volunteer in a ministry. You can fill out a volunteer application for any one of our ministries on the “ministries” page of the website or go to victory.org/serve. We’d love for you to get involved!
