Crossover is for Jr. High students in sixth through eighth grades. At Crossover, we purpose to equip students to stand against the culture and make wise choices, living for Christ and resisting the world. Crossover is all about standing firm in our faith, having fun, building healthy relationships and digging deeper in the Christian experience. As the directors, we believe the Jr. High years are a crucial time for students to embrace faith in God as their own (not just their parents’) and embark on a deep, personal relationship with Him that will prepare them to stand firm in their faith during the high school years that are just around the corner.

“Don't look for shortcuts to God. The market is flooded with surefire, easygoing formulas for a successful life that can be practiced in your spare time. Don't fall for that stuff, even though crowds of people do. The way to life—to God!—is vigorous and requires total attention.” Matthew 7:13-15 (The Message Bible)

“And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we'll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.” Ephesians 6:10-12 The Message |
