Cathy works alongside her husband, Senior Pastor Don Karpinen as his assistant and co-minister. Cathy directs the Membership Care at Victory, along with Associate Pastor Erwin Guevara. Cathy enjoyed a twelve year career in youth ministry along with her husband before they established Victory Christian Center in 1996. Cathy’s passion is to connect church members to be a community of believers who minister and care for one another and serve Christ together. She oversees many of the ministries of the church. Cathy enjoys birthing new ministries to help meet the needs of the church family and also meet the needs of the community. She has a passion and heart for missions and is active on the Mission’s board at Victory. Along with her husband, Cathy’s most enjoyable time off is spent with their young adult children, Carrie and Donny, and daughter-in-love, Brittany. She enjoys watching them lead worship through Cadence Worship Band and loves to accompany them on their travels when she can. When not at church, you might find Cathy walking their family dog, Marley or escaping to one of our beautiful South Florida beaches.
