Don Karpinen is the founder and senior pastor of Victory Christian Center, a young and growing church in Boca Raton, Florida. The church began on June 8, 1996 and has experienced an exciting move of God in South Florida.

Pastor Don and his wife Cathy have enjoyed serving the Lord in full time ministry since 1984, when they began as Youth Ministers in south Florida. After enjoying 12 years of ministry with youth and young adults, he heeded the call of God to establish Victory Christian Center in Boca Raton, Florida. The ministry began meeting at Spanish River High School with a faithful and committed group of leadership and elders. Victory met at the High School for its first three years before moving into its current church building in east Boca. The Lord has blessed the church and enlarged the church family under Pastor Don's experienced leadership.

Pastor Don's desire is to win people to Jesus and share the love of God with others. His heartbeat is to equip and train the church for evangelistic outreach and to share the love of God through ministering to community needs.

Pastor Don and Cathy have been married for twenty-seven years and have been blessed with two children. Spending time with his children is Don's favorite pastime! He can often be found in the audience of a Cadence Worship Band concert, since his young adult children minister and travel with Cadence, a contemporary Christian band.

Pastor Don is committed to worship through music, and founded One Heart Band in 1992 which has appeared with artists such as The Imperials, Jeff Fenholt, Gail Moore, and Cynthia Clawson. The Victory Christian Center Worship Team is co-directed by Pastor Don and Lisa Tedrick, (also formerly of One Heart).

Pastor Don is a member of the Apostolic Family Ministry cell of Church Foundational Network under Pastor Buford Lipscomb in Pensacola, Florida. Pastor Don and the family at Victory Christian Center have a love and passion for God that is contagious! Come and join us at Victory and catch the passion!
